[00:00:00] Speaker A: Station for up to the minute news and intelligent, interactive and engaging conversations. 96.9 FM. The views and opinions of the hosts and guests are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of the management and staff of Guardian Radio. [00:00:42] Speaker B: What a rainy yet beautiful day it is here on what they call Friday in the Bahamas. I love this weather. Many people may be sucking their teeth and biting their lips, but for those people, your car don't have no air condition, you're in trouble because you know when you roll your window down, some people just don't know how to slow down. They gonna splash you up. We call that baptism in the Bahamas. So for those you uncircumcised behemoths, some of you all need to get fed up. You need to get baptized, you need to need to go to church and find the Lord. But I pray that you could give a little air condition for your little note, your little cube. I, I, I hope that goes well for you this summer because out there is extremely hot. And this is why we are so thankful today for the liquid sunshine that has blessed us. Our trees were turning brown, we've had a number of forest fires throughout the country and I think this rainfall is overdue. And the blessing of these tears from God is that it kind of gives me confidence that this year is going to be a year without any eventful hurricane weather. So this is what I'm praying for. Let it rain, let it rain. Let it rain. We're right here Today, Guardian Radio, 96.9 FM. Your show, Guardian today. We're sitting here. We had a great discussion yesterday. And so for those of you who were tuned in and you did make a contribution, I found myself up last night around midnight and listen to the show or the repeat show on the air. And it was quite an interesting contribution that you made. You made the show exciting and you encouraged me to be back here again today. While I was on my way here, I did get another phone call. You know, I sit in another space elsewhere and they were inviting me to sit with them tonight and I had to let them know I'm on vacation. Now you know I'm on vacation. But you know, when Guardian Radio calls, I also sit on the show on Sunday here, 5 to 6:30. And they asked me to do my part to fill in this particular time slot. Well, what could I say? They say when your hand is in the lion's mouth, you can only ease it out slowly. But lately the conversation has not been about lions, it's been about bees. When you touch the beehive. Let me tell you something, homeboy. I got one guest in here with me today who's supposed to be a beekeeper. But he, when he, when he said, on bases work, he said, but you never see women so angry. He said. He gave me two of his bee suits. He had two bee suits. He tell his mummy, by God, find them bee suit, give them to God. He don't want no part of that. But I'm thankful to him. He's been a good friend to me. His father is a good friend to my entire family. His mother. Listen, these are some of the great people of the Bahamas. And anytime you want to have anything negative to say about Bahamian people, you always find those great Bahamian people who show you the positive. And so I want to thank all the positive people out there today. Continue to be the positive contributors that you are. Let us build this country and make this country the greatest country on the planet. Amen. Today I just want to say happy birthday. My birthday was last month and there were two ladies in particular, and I, you know, when you're on these spaces, you got to be balanced. And so I can bring a balance today. I can bring a balance from three different individuals. Let me put it that way. Let me be fair to you all. The first person that touched me was a Free National Movement aspirant and she is vying for the constituency of southern shores. Ms. Dennelly Penn Maki is my very, very, very good friend, his first cousin, and she has been she observing me for some time. And she was kind enough not to take me out to eat once but twice and gave me some wonderful little trinkets. She made me feel special. And I'll tell you what was so great about the lunch with her. We were able to discuss her just a little bit and the contributions that she makes without anyone even watching her or knowing of what she does to me took her beyond what politics is in this country. And it showed me what a great Bahamian she is. And of course, she's misunderstood on many fronts. Of course, many people may dislike her because she styled. She has ambition, she has aspirations. But yesterday someone called the show and said, maybe this number fella don't need to be running because maybe he got too much. Well, what is too much when you are a philanthropist? What is too much when you love people and what you do? And there are some secrets that you will never know about individuals in this country, the things that they do. And I think the prime minister was one of those people who has done Marvelous works behind the scenes. I'm not asking anybody this. I witnessed this. Even when his wife called and paid to have the bees removed from that was around Delaport area, they paid for that out of their pocket. It wasn't government money. It was their money for the community and they paid for it. There are people who do things behind the scenes. So. Mr. Andy Penn. Mark, I just want to probably thank you for the time that we have spent and I want to pray and encourage you as you move forward to continue being the great behemoth that you are. The other person, believe it or not, is somebody who I watch from a distance and I wasn't too certain about. You hear all kinds of bad things for these people and we got to stop this because yeah, we all do bad things. I sure all of us ain't perfect. I know God, Roseborough, if you get me mad enough, boy, the things I can do to you, you wouldn't even know it's me who do it to you. Things I will work witchcraft on you, you understand? But the truth be told is that I got to see the person for myself. And maybe they were cloaking it, maybe they were hiding it, maybe they were being deceptive to me. But the energy that I felt as a. I got to talk straight. The fired preacher. You didn't fire me. As a preacher, I ain't scared for the one to know that you fire me. But that's okay. They fire Jesus and they fire John the Baptist. You just fire people like that. So I don't mind being fired. But this lady had such strength, such power and the charisma that she exuded. The excitement of just being in her presence, even for five minutes. I said, my God, what a lady. And I'm talking with that little five foot woman, Jobette Colby Davis. My God. And so I had the privilege of sitting with her recently and speaking to her about community life and the involvement in community. And we can look from the outside looking in and say, you know what? These people ain't no good. But I'm saying to you, we may not all be totally good, but the things that we do that aren't mentioned. My friend, Joabeth Covey Davis, my sister. And I'll tell you why she's my sister. My birthday is July 14 and her birthday is July 17. So we shared the week of her birthday. And so I want to thank you for the time that you've also spent with me. Now let me balance it because you know people, y' all look crazy, especially on Friday. You're crazy as hell. So let me balance this. I was in a hardware store. Cause they ain't showing. If you want sponsor, you could use the number 302-2300. But I was in a hardware store in the Plaza. I'll give you hints. Uncle Michael Road, near Blue Hill Road. And I was purchasing some material for a client. And somebody touched me on the shoulder. Who this is touching me on my shoulder? Because you know right there, you know how we behave in man go. I frighten. I can tell them I frightened with the. With the girls behind the desk. Because, you know, they're so pretty. All behemoth woman. I ain't gonna lie. You're miserable and you're a little naughty. But you all some of the finest woman in the world. I just gotta say it the way it is, man. You all y' all got that little shape thing going. I don't know why some of y' all let that go. If you had one baby, man, go wake that thing off, man, and get that little Coca Cola shape back. You got it, woman. You got it. Why you think so much? Tourists come into the Bahamas, the wife would bring. No, no, no, no, no. The man said, baby, I got to go to the Bahamas. I need to see some things. We ain't coming to see no water tower. We ain't going to see no water, no sand. We ain't gonna see Bay street and no horse and carriage. When them white fellas come here and them black fellas come from around the world, and the Chinese fellows don't come around here, and the Filipino come down here and they see you your little fine self, you know they tell you right, boy, if we could only get one house in the Bahamas, or we could only move to the Bahamas or. But in my dream place to live in the world is the Bahamas, your woman must be doing it. Y' all women know how to do it. Why you think someone's got to go to church? We got to ask God for forgiveness, and we see all. I only saying. I only saying. But this person touched me anyhow. [00:10:11] Speaker C: Let me. [00:10:11] Speaker B: Let me get back to my story. When I spin around, the person was within 12, at least a foot of myself. 12 inches of myself. You know who that was? Lincoln Bain. He said, my brother. I say, hey, hey, Link. What's happening, my friend? Because what you don't know about me and Lincoln Bain is Lincoln Bain. And I go all the way back to 2013 on radio when he used to hold regular on his show. And when we talk about Independent thinking and independent representation. It was Lincoln Bain. It was Bannister. Remember Bannister? Attention, attention. If you remember Peter Johnson, the Watchman who's now deceased, my cousin. It used to be Omar Archer. All us used to be on them show. Utah Taylor wrote all of us was on the show. We go way back is what I'm trying to say to you. And he has been my friend from day one. He has looked out for me and you know I got plenty friends. So I'm only saying it to say to you, politics ain't got nothing to do when it comes to behemoth friendship. If it's a friend, your friend indeed. And today I want to thank you my friends for tuning in here to Guardian Radio 96.9 FM on this beautiful wet Friday. We're going to get it wet up in here. Now sitting in the studio with me is none other than Remick Roll Junior Junior. Any last name? I'm going to do it for me. Junior is not his last name. His last name is Roll. And today I am rolling with Roll. Oh gee man, you only understand what I saying to you. I say rolling with Roll. When you talk about roll, you talk with people who name in Grand Bahama, Abaco, Andros, Exuma, Nassau, Cat Island, San Salvador, Rum Cay, Long Island. [00:12:05] Speaker C: Roll. [00:12:05] Speaker B: Them been everywhere, them Roll People don't play. I don't talk your business on the air because you're still rolling. You're still doing some things to populate the country. And we proud of people like you all because you all keep your population of the Bahamas going. If you ain't gonna roll an old Smith, you see them rolling them Smiths. Geez, you all know how to keep the population high, boy. So Ro, I've known your family for quite some time. Y' all are extremely hard working people. You're very humble people. Your father used to be a co host at Joker's Wild with naughty. You know your dad is just precious. He's very precious. Spoke to him this morning and I thank you for coming to take me to get my car this morning. And I say, you know what this is an intelligent young man, a very hard working young man. And he's the only young man I know is carrying knapsack everywhere he go. He ain't got no wallet, the wallet too small. You ain't got nothing in that bag other than money because holds something else in there. Like if you fool with that buy, you may get something else. [00:13:05] Speaker A: Oh, that's just in case. [00:13:06] Speaker B: That's just in Case, all right, that could be about 4ft long, you know, that's how long them shotgun is there. You got license to carry that. Anyway, I don't want 1 meters outside the studio saying, let's see where that gun is. We ain't got no gun. We ain't got no guns. We only got money in here. So, Mr. Roll, go ahead and let the people know who you are, what you do, and you know, let's have a little conversation today. [00:13:27] Speaker A: Thank you, Mr. Rushborough. It's a pleasure to be here, man. A blessing to be on your show. [00:13:31] Speaker B: Yes, sir. [00:13:32] Speaker C: I'm glad. [00:13:32] Speaker A: I'm glad that someone like you as a show that can get to the people, let them know what's going on. My name is Renwick Roll Jr. I am owner, operator of jet skis and also a parasail captain in the cable beach area. That's near the Bahama Hotel. Been doing it for around 14 to 15 years right now, of course, took a break during the pandemic, which was rough for everyone, but we're back in operation now, since then, and it's been okay. [00:14:02] Speaker B: Man, that's wonderful to know. And you see, you know, sometimes you look at these jet ski operator fellows, let me tell you how we think about them. They drive an old rusty vehicle because you know, the vehicle got to go down in the salt water, right? They're rusty. They shooting carbon monoxide and all kind of fumes all over the place. They put. And they got but 115 jet ski behind them. This how these fellows roll, you know, and they getting in your way because you trying to get to wake. Why these people can't put these jet ski in the water before everybody else got to. And then your little axle on your. On your trailer break. Now you're holding up traffic. Nobody could move. Everybody getting hurt. That's how these jet ski felism got roll. Every day you praying to God that nothing happened to the axle on your trailer. Tell me I lie. [00:14:46] Speaker A: No, no, no lie, right? No lie there. [00:14:48] Speaker B: When you get to the water, you can't listen to me. You know why? I've been in my boat for six years. It's too much work to take your boat, put it in the water and pull it out. Every day now I've been in your yard and sometimes when I pass there and I see all, I got to come help you all. And your daddy say thank you, Jesus. You show up. Are you so tired? Some days you're just tired. You're tired, you're burn out and you need Just a little bit of help. But I've watched you all six days a week go to that water and come back home. You, you're even too tired to almost count your money. But you wouldn't let me count it. Why you count some of them US dollar bills, man. I'm going to count some of them $100 bills. You all are doing very well out there. And what people may not know is that his father was the first jet ski operator that I know that had a jet ski out on the beach. He is actually, I would say that the founder of jet ski operations in the country. And my mother who worked at the bank was the person who signed the loan to get them established. And so now what you see in the Bahamas, you see numerous young men becoming owners and entrepreneurs in the jet ski business. It's not an easy business. It's a very heavily politicized business. And I brought him on today, you know, because it's raining outside. He's not at work today. But I want to just allow him to chime in on our conversation because what you wouldn't know about him, he's very humble. He wouldn't tell you he'd been abroad over there where he lived the experiences that he had and came back home. He's a very educated man, by the way. So you could be an educated Jet ski operated. And then you know, his daddy smart and his ma don't play. Oh, Lord, if you ever meet that woman, his ma don't play. Now that's woman right there. That's woman. That's like, that's like four or five man in one. [00:16:31] Speaker C: She. [00:16:32] Speaker B: I ain't scared of her now because that's Miguel. I ain't scared of her. But you, you can be scared of her. Oh yeah, she listen, if you're touched her money, which island you can go live on must be literally Nagwe must. [00:16:45] Speaker A: Have gone to Dirks and Giggles because. [00:16:47] Speaker B: You ain't still not on this island. She gonna find you. So folks, today, welcome to Guardian Talk radio today 96.9 FM. We're gonna have a great discussion. We started talking about politics and money yesterday and I want to continue that conversation until we actually finish that conversation because I got so much things to add to that conversation. Yet at the same time, the. There's so much more things that we can talk about. And so yesterday was beautiful to me. So just pause a minute and let me just do a little backdrop as to where I want to go today, if that's okay by you. [00:17:18] Speaker A: That's Fine. [00:17:19] Speaker B: And then we can take a little break. Here's where I'm at. I don't know. I know, Renwick, you don't know about this, but my mother told me this story that as a child growing up, whenever supper was served, you know, you had them little tin plate. You know? I know you don't know about them little tin plate. And they'll bring out your food. You had to eat everything else before you eat the meat. So, Kermit, I know you know about that. You eat everything first. You can't touch the meat, because if a guest come to your house, that guest can get the meat first. Yes. They can take the meat off your plate and put it on the guest plate, and the guests can eat that. And you get to eat just the grits and. And the peas or you get to eat the rice or whatever. You get to eat the sides. You ain't getting no. No meat for you. And this one I almost customize now. And I even know him, Mr. Jones. Every time supper served and you're there trying to eat as fast as you could to eat this food, this, this, this, this. I almost called him out a name again. And I even know the man. This. I ain't tain your meat. [00:18:35] Speaker A: Big piece of chicken gone. [00:18:37] Speaker B: It's gone. Chicken, fish, whatever, gone. Okay, you're older now. You're 14. You're 15. Now, your job is to go in the kitchen to help prepare the food while Mommy, you know, you just call your mommy or grammy sitting at the table waiting for you to finish cooking so everybody else could eat. Now you in the kitchen. I just want to ask you a question, Ramik. Roll Jr. I want to ask you a question. I even call you Rollie today. That's right, Rollie. Let me ask a question. [00:19:09] Speaker A: Yes, sir. [00:19:10] Speaker B: You finally get to the kitchen. You finally got the meat in your hand. You cooking this meat. And all your childhood, you've been smelling this meat. This meat smells so get your mouth watering. You can't wait to put your teeth in this. And Mr. Jones, what the heck you. [00:19:29] Speaker C: Be. [00:19:32] Speaker B: Now who got the meat? [00:19:35] Speaker A: You. [00:19:35] Speaker B: Now, you think. You think 100% of that meat can reach the table? [00:19:42] Speaker A: No, sir. [00:19:43] Speaker B: You tell me how to work. Use a young man. I say old man. I stupid. I old and stupid. I ain't got no sense. Use a young man. You tell me what young people's sense can tell you. [00:19:51] Speaker A: If your mother teaches sense growing up, she teach you to learn from mistakes. [00:19:55] Speaker B: Okay, so what you gonna do when you see that meat in the kitchen. [00:19:57] Speaker A: I put one side to myself. [00:19:59] Speaker B: Oh. So while you're cooking, you're tasting and you're eating and you're filling your belly and then you got a piece of meat and stash that say no Mr. [00:20:07] Speaker A: Jones, cuz you're up. [00:20:09] Speaker B: And that's the problem. You want diet, that's the problem. And all the other little children who got away, that's their problem. But you now you straight. So when the meat get on the table, you going from 96 pounds. Now you weighing 220 pounds. Because you now is the cook. You got the grease from the meat coming all out. Your poor, you don't even want no right. What KB say? He ain't want all of that. He only want the meat. He want no gravy, just, just the meat. See, you all can understand how this culture thing work. So now I don't want no gravy, I don't want none of that. I just eaten meat. I is a carnivore. I was a lion, I was a tiger. I want no grass, I want no rabbit food. I just want the meat. Okay, good. I want to draw that analogy because in Bahamian politics, when we talk about politics and money, the people today who are entering into politics, of them, if not all of them, because I can't say all, that's too much of a general statement. But there are, there, there are those of you who are entering into politics who never taste meat before. I want to talk straight true. You never taste meat before. I know you know you never taste meat before. So what that telling me now you're, now you get a little bit of sense and you want a little bit of meat. So what you gonna do? I won't go ahead and vie for a nomination in your party. All of a sudden I the best PLP in the world. I the best FM in the world. I the best third party member in the world. I love people, I want to serve. I want to sacrifice for people. I want to build this country. And we putting you now in the kitchen. I just want to be honest, Mr. Roll, rolly roll. Tell me what you think will happen when I taste my first piece of meat. [00:22:07] Speaker A: You, you see the person weigh 200 pounds now, right? Okay, what can happen? They can eat all they want to. [00:22:13] Speaker B: Eat as much as they could. [00:22:13] Speaker A: They can start saving. [00:22:14] Speaker B: They can put some on the table. Yeah. They can't be all. No, no, no. I just, that's how I think. Now if I wrong today in my analogy, these people got to call in and tell me I wrong. And let's talk about this today. We're still talking politics and money. The Phone numbers are 323-623-3325-431632-54259. Anywhere in the Bahamas, 300-5720. Or you can text in at 422-4796. All the meat. So yesterday, maybe you have a little job to the bank. Maybe you had a job as a teacher. Maybe you had a job as a policeman. Maybe you had a job in a garbage truck. We got some who's selling hot dog. I just being real. I ain't calling nobody name, huh? We got some of y' all who was unemployed. Yes. Some of y' all who just come from college. All the ordinary walks of life. You never had no meat like this before. Now when you get into politics, what you got? You got one of them brand new Ford Explorer. I mean, you could smell the newness on it, huh? Tires never hit the ground good, yet. You got tank full of gas. You can leave it running all day, all night to keep the air cold, huh? You got driver before you know. I don't know if you know, whatever. You're Nissan, no, the Nissan Cube. That's what you had. So now you got, you got chauffeured. How to tell them where you got to go, what time to pick you up, don't be late. That's what you got. Now you got before this, he was waking my little office where he had no air conditioning. Now you got air conditioned office with receptionists in the front and security at the door and secretary over here and all type of officers working underneath you. You in charge. You've never been in charge of nothing in your life. All of a sudden, are you in charge? I say anything wrong yet? [00:24:05] Speaker A: Not yet. [00:24:05] Speaker B: I ain't saying nothing wrong yet. Okay? The way clothes is weak, there's affordable clothing and then there is stupid clothing. You know what I mean by stupid, right? I talk in Versace, I talk in Gucci, I joking. Louis Vuitton. I know. With your underwear got the symbol on it. That's what I talking about now. I mean ridiculous when I say these things. [00:24:24] Speaker A: Doing the same thing as dota clothing, huh? You're doing the same thing as the other clothing. [00:24:29] Speaker B: The fragrance you wear, eat them with oil. With his we sell on the side of the road behind in them little car with. With the fellow with the chief name and Rajeev. No, no, no, no, no. We ordering this online. This, this 500 a bottle. This comes straight from Farms and if I may say so, huh, that's what they're talking about. Your haircut. You used to go to the barber once every two weeks. A haircut now is $20. Now the, the, the, the, the barber coming to you two times and three times a week. I say anything wrong yet? Rolly Roll, talk to me. Roll. [00:25:03] Speaker A: Yeah, you good. [00:25:04] Speaker B: You got to shut me up. You can say boy, shut up, old man. You know what you're talking about. [00:25:07] Speaker A: On the right drug, on the right train at the moment. Oh yeah, yeah. [00:25:09] Speaker B: When you go to wake in Parliament, you ain't got just no chicken in the bike. Like how we grow up on chicken in the bike. Or one piece of chicken with little peas and rice and cold strong gravy. No, man, you got rock alarm. You got steak. Huh? Huh? You got, you got Atlantic Sound. You think I don't know what these things. Lamb chops. And you got meat coming out of your paws. You put on all kind of weight. I tell a liar one. I ain't gonna lie yet. Your house before had them old window where you have the screw screw and then your window open and your, your window close. Everybody else just trying to buy hurricane impact window now, but you, oh you, you, you got remote control where to send the shutter off and bring the shuttle back down. Man, I talking fully. You get bougie your frame a dog with sport as far as a pot cake. I used to feed Spot scrap. You ain't got spot no more. You ain't fire Spot. Spot on. Here we see spot down Bay street with the rest of the gang. Because every, every, every middle of the night little gang of dogs is being on Bay street playing. They just come from all over the place. All for the back of seven hills. Blue healing. All roads lead to Bay street at night for dog. And they lay down on the step the next morning. They ain't been nowhere. That's how these pork cake this week. Yeah, but now you then fly a spot. We see sport got all kind of mange and dinge and ah, Lord, because now you got one of them little a poodle. Or you got one of them little snouser type of dog you, you need, you need fancy dog. When they go to the vet, you got to spend 2, 3, $400 a time. I I saying anything wrong yet, sir? [00:26:53] Speaker A: Not yet. [00:26:55] Speaker B: Before you had one little gardener from oversold. Also mean that when they reach here, you ain't know if they're legal or they illegal. They just cut you out. They just read you. Now we looking over your Wall and you know dc. You then go on to immigration then get papers for your own. Huh? You then straighten that up. You got three or four around the yard clipping and cutting the grass and huh. This is what the politician can have. This is nothing new. So why are Bahamian people so upset at the politician? You then know just what they gonna do. All of them. I ain't talking about no one party, every last one. You talk about change coming and change is here and no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. They don't work like that. That don't work like that. The man who go in the kitchen talking with change is the man who will eat this meat first. Tell me how you lie anyway. 323-623-2325-431632-54259. Anywhere from the family violence. 300-5720 or you can text me at 422-4796. Bro, talk to me man, before I talk some more people business. [00:28:10] Speaker A: Every chance I'm getting a kitchen or a woman, let's speak. [00:28:13] Speaker B: More than likely, not all the time. Everybody don't teeth. But more than likely, if you. [00:28:17] Speaker A: Let's say more than likely. [00:28:18] Speaker B: Yeah, more than likely. [00:28:19] Speaker A: They have a good heart, awesome. But more than likely, yeah, they taking more meat on that pot every time they get inside there. [00:28:25] Speaker B: If you could get peace, if. [00:28:26] Speaker A: If they could get it because they. [00:28:27] Speaker B: Never had it before. [00:28:28] Speaker A: And if you ain't looking, I sorry, go on. [00:28:36] Speaker B: Your daddy called me today. I'm on preacher in the States. The preacher get hit because he then embassy must be over $90,000 worth of the church money to go buy things. Because when he was a member, he was like everybody else, throwing in the tide little offering. Now he's the preacher. He collecting this thing. Oh yeah. Now you. You think he can turn down this money? Let me tell you, the money, this work then. You ever have something called 4C anniversary? [00:29:05] Speaker A: No. [00:29:05] Speaker B: That's what they just do orders before you see a pastoral line of a tree. This is my second year. I'm a third year, my fourth year, my fifth year, my sixth year. This my birthday celebration. This my wedding anniversary. Huh. You know, you know, everybody's saying, huh, when things get a little low, we got to bring in one preacher from Africa or bring him in from the Caribbean or bring him in from America. We have an evangelistic series. We can get this man 110 grand. I then cut my deal with the preacher company for 10 grand and say 5 for you and 5 for me. I talking too Much sorry for that call going at you on the line. Go ahead. Yes, sir. [00:29:42] Speaker C: Yeah, I listen to y', all, you know. Yeah, some of they can teach you. But see you gotta look at this. If you get 10 bikes, 10 bikes, money bike, right? And you eat three and leave seven for the, for the rest of the people. But these people and people all they only leave in one bike. [00:30:04] Speaker A: Lucky to get half a bike you. [00:30:07] Speaker C: That at least share some of the money out, man. You understand the government, right? See, that's the difference like that. Money's human beings, you mean? But if we get 10B and you carry 9B and they born now you can split up all these B to people and everyone hurting in the Bahamas. See, that's different. Army wasn't hurting. You understand what you're saying, right? [00:30:33] Speaker B: I I hearing you. [00:30:34] Speaker C: So if they give someone else a chance. See that's the difference is now you give the place that you know, this person can shoot you. So hot water in your area when you go to the front door. If you go back to there, you have something to happen again, right? But if you go to the next house and the dogs are good there and all that, they tell your boy, you go to there, you ain't nothing happening but something you end up getting throwing you. At least it's a chance. It's take. Because you know down there red and I think I'm going on there, you can just call and shoot in that one. I rather take a chance. I rather take a chance and been 40 something years old being there into the same door getting rock and beat and everything and all that. No like the outcome. See, that's the problem right there with bam. People be scared to take a chance when you get the low speed lo spe. Now you're your own light bill and all that. Now I go on the lie bill. I didn't realize they but from they talk when they was talking about the light bill, they dropping the, they dropping the bat and dropping out everything on the label. From when they was talking the light bill was clearing up from then I I check all of my previous bill from, from the month back from, from, from last year and then now they going up my fuel charges like 150. Just refuel and I only bring it. I only buy live bill only. I only bring in $78. $78. Oh, so, so, so, so I ain't getting my ACM off or nothing because I ain't bringing no eye because watch out if you're like, if you just follow all your blogs in your house, right? Your life, your life will come up to $10. The fuel charge still $158 to what I mean that's $168. But you suffer in the heat and all that. Turn your light off in dark Mary and all that. I don't understand that. But what I trying to get at? We need a change, man. Only really we can need a change. We got dismantled everyone who causing the problem. I. I don't retire. I retire sitting. Now gotta be depending on people or my kids. I'm gonna be using my pension money because I didn't stand up for the. For them. No, I call it that one now. [00:32:40] Speaker B: Hey, I appreciate your call, man. I hear the passion in your voice and hey, this is what, this is what happens when we open airways, man. People got to speak their heart. This is Guardian today here at Guardian Radio, 96.9 FM. We had some texts that came in early. The first text says you all need to stop those personalities you highlighting you he ain't saved the criminal uncircumcised greedy dogs. They don't want you or me to have nothing. That's a conversation that I would like to have in the very short future, you know, because I just feel like that's a good opinion. But of course it's an opinion. And it means then that someone else may debate differently and bring something else to the subject matter. It says Garth and your guests, if you ask the average, they can't tell you but most of them following Lincoln because he say given each payment $100,000, nothing else. You think if he wasn't talking that you think they would it was going to be following him? I only being fair. You're reading your text. I read your text. If the text get a little bit too crazy, well, you know, I can, I can, I can, I can read it. But I, I think that is your opinion. That's your observation and you have a right to that opinion. So I read it. Okay. Goth is still happening. It's still happening. Taking your meat if you don't eat it twice. Goth the government need to get serious about all politicians disclosing their financial status. Okay. This other Texas as. Good day, brother Garth. Most people entering the political arena are looking for meat and elevation. They will swing the people and swear to the queen of England is now the king and heirs then take control of the cookie jar in finance. They want the meat. Brother G from Grand Bahama. Caller, you on the line. Go ahead, caller. Doing, man, doing. Well, I didn't want you hold too long because you may get wet, man. [00:37:24] Speaker C: I appreciate you, man, but listen, I got to say something about that name rule because don't tell him. [00:37:30] Speaker B: He's one of them too. [00:37:32] Speaker C: I probably. I probably am because there was a lady, miss Robert. She fed me every Sunday and whenever I go inhaler and she didn't cook, she get mad. Why you come and I finish cooking yet? My lord, there's something. There's something about the roles that is twine. And I haven't figured it out completely, but I'm close. And now that you have a role in the house. Yes, I think I can figure it out sooner than later. [00:37:57] Speaker B: Yeah, man, good people. [00:37:58] Speaker C: But you know, God, you know, the perception that people enter politics for money and personal gain, that's all over the world, you know, but it's not entirely true because some people begin with noble intentions. They want to do right, but then things shift as the psychological factors get involved and then their priorities sort of, sort of change over time. I think one thing that could cause that to change though is especially this political system which reward loyalty and power. Patronage over someone who comes with merit. That sort of encourage you to be a self serving individual man, everybody else doing it. But look here, here we go. [00:38:37] Speaker B: Easy to fit in. [00:38:38] Speaker C: Yeah, you may be born right, but you end up wrong with them. The thing is though, you got to face the fact though, politics offer the ability to control the budget, to make laws. You know, you could get little public contracts so you could find some opportunities, opportunities that you probably couldn't find if. [00:38:54] Speaker B: You were not in politics. [00:38:55] Speaker C: So here's what I propose. [00:38:57] Speaker B: Listening. [00:38:57] Speaker C: I propose we have a training right for leaders. Here's the deal. Before entering politics, you must walk through a symbolic hall of mirrors. Follow me with the parables now and confront your own reflection. Now. Only those who can say I see the people in me allowed to go further. [00:39:23] Speaker B: My Lord. [00:39:24] Speaker C: There you go. [00:39:24] Speaker B: I appreciate you. That's profound. [00:39:27] Speaker A: That's a serious one. [00:39:28] Speaker B: Next caller on the line please. Go ahead, next caller, you're there. Call you there. Okay, thank that caller. Someone texting, that's the worst part is everyone could see the pot come out way empty and only the cook had access to it. And you could see the meat sauce around the mouth. Then he could say he don't know where the meat gone. Like we stupid. I don't. [00:40:02] Speaker A: That one a new I've been going, I can tell you that. [00:40:07] Speaker B: Well, listen, listen, listen, I, I enjoy you all calling in. I know we're getting ready to go to the news, but I just want to say something to you people and I got a text, a negative text just a while ago and I. I'm not afraid of you. I ain't afraid of nobody. I can tell you what I got to say. I got the mic in front of me. I didn't get here overnight. I didn't get it because I wanted to be here. I was asked to sit in, to fill in. I sit on a show on Sunday. I got my own show on Sunday, 5 to 6:30, saying to you that I am employed here in quote as a host of a show. And therefore if the station asked me to sit here, I sit here. You got to know your place in life, people. You just got to know your place whether you are the greatest or you're the least of them. As long as you are a brother. You got the name. You in the family. That's all I tried to say to y'. All. Now, y' all could fight me all you want. Now you tell me, say I'm more boring than the other fella. I can accept that. As a matter of fact, I can tell you how I could be more boring to you. My intelligence wouldn't comprehend what I'm saying to you. Please get lost. Please get lost. Just stay away from me. I 56 years old, and let me tell you all something. I get more miserable as I get close to 70. I kid you not. I so sick and tired of idiots in my life. I don't want you nowhere near me. I am so tired of you. I now understand why rich people live in gated communities. They want to stay away from you. People like you. So if you don't like me, praise be to God. At least I know one thing. You don't like me. You don't like how I think. You don't like who I am. Praise be to the Almighty God. That means you like the rest of the people who every time I go to an establishment, you gotta give me $. I tidy YouTube. I tired of you, too. These people come all the way from China, all the way from Jamaica, all the way from Haiti, all the way from the Philippines. They never asked me for a dollar once. But you who born here, no hidden, you will look at me and ask me for my daughter. To hell with you. I tired of you. That's why I live where I live. And that's why people like you who think I am not the type of individual that you could appreciate, or maybe I ain't a good dog like I use like to talk and you know what I'm saying. No, stay away from me. And you have a blessed Friday. We'll see you in heaven. You know, heaven got 12 gates. Me and you ain't going into the same gate. We may both make it, but we ain't going through the same gate. Okay. [00:42:34] Speaker A: Take that. [00:42:38] Speaker B: I ain't scared to tell you that I ain't got nothing to lose. I am me. I could only be me. I ain't trying to be nobody else. You know many people y' all try to be too significant sometimes. And let me tell you what I mean by significance before I go to news. My friend from Atlanta, Mr. Smith, he said to me, garth, there is a difference between when you say, the prime minister is my boy, that's my friend. We hear you. The MP is your friend. We hear you. But the difference is when the MP or when the prime minister say God is my friend. Do you see the difference? You'll keep on trying to be friends with all these important things to make yourself significant, but you ain't even recognize that you're only significant when significant people recognize you. We go into the news, folks. We'll be back after that. [00:43:57] Speaker A: This is Guardian Radio, your station for up to the minute news and intelligent, interactive and engaging conversations. 96.9 FM. [00:44:28] Speaker B: We're back. This is Guardian Radio today. My name is Garth Rose Burrow here at Guardian Radio, 96.9 FM. I can't see outside. You know, they didn't give me that corner suite office where I can look through the window and see the beautiful raindrops. But for you, the beautiful raindrops of the Bahamas. I want you to know that you are appreciated. We love you as nation builders. Our prayers are with you. Because you're smiling doesn't necessarily mean that you're not being challenged. For those people who want to give up hope, you know, when life gets too hot, just remember God sends the rain, cools you down. Do not be afraid to reach out to somebody, reach out to anybody. Say, you know what? I could use just a little bit of help. I'm a fighter, but I'm a little bit tired. Could you give me something? I ain't talking about that person, not you, I ain't talking about you. We mean you got to have a different conversation. But welcome to the show today. Politics and money right here on Guardian Radio today. I have to read this text again. I so love this text. I have a caller on the line, but go ahead caller. Let me let you. Let me go first. I don't want you hold too long. Go ahead, caller. What's on your mind? [00:45:46] Speaker C: God is always good to hear you on the radio. [00:45:48] Speaker B: Thank you, my friend. [00:45:49] Speaker C: By yourself. But listen, what you were saying before you went to the news. You remind me of my father. Daddy used to tell me, leave those people alone. Why are you bothering them? Why are you trying to fix their life? Leave them alone. Yes, why are you going and cut your losses? [00:46:07] Speaker B: That's it. [00:46:08] Speaker C: He said, don't never try to go behind all money or what people owe you if they don't want to pay. You cut your law because it costs you more to go get it. Yeah, and you sound you brought all that back to mind. They've been dead now almost 20 years. [00:46:23] Speaker B: My Lord. [00:46:24] Speaker C: I go by what they say more than I go by what the Bible say. [00:46:27] Speaker B: You know what I Learned too. My friend, before you go, you want to talk about true loss, I mean great loss, let me tell you who's caused you to lose the most. And I want you to go to the Bible and tell me if this is not true. You know, bring the greatest loss, your friends and family. Not the sinner. You know it ain't the sinner. See, the sinner could repent. Stupid people can't learn. Stupid people can't learn. I I so glad I could use the word stupid. And I've been in the air for over 10 years. I never used the word stupid. I so glad I could say that today. Somebody brought that out of my bosom that I could say today. Stay away from stupid. Just get all the stupid people and put them on camera Lazaro camp and leave them there to govern itself. You wouldn't believe what this country could accomplish. [00:47:11] Speaker C: Let me give you some more little jokes before you go, okay? I like the had the Bahamian people say man, you talking about thousands of dollars. They call it change. [00:47:19] Speaker B: Uhhuh. [00:47:22] Speaker C: That's only change. [00:47:23] Speaker B: That's only change. [00:47:24] Speaker C: They love to tell you mind you waking every day you can't carry nothing. I just tell them go tell the simet dad and the Kelly side don't tell me cuz they up from six o' clock in the morning. That's right and they don't have to. I say why you don't go tell them they y carry nothing and they. [00:47:39] Speaker B: Working for their money like everybody else. [00:47:41] Speaker C: And I mean they up to the their business from 6:30, 7 o' clock in the morning. [00:47:45] Speaker B: This young man with me today, Mr. Roll, he be up from 4 o' clock in the morning. You don't want to see the wake he got to do before he could even get on the road with a 15 jet ski. [00:47:54] Speaker C: That's the same way with me cuz I get up early in the morning to check my yard, my fruit trees and I take my phone call to some starting around 6 o', clock. Okay then to get that out the way, okay. But they'll sit down and tell you you better buy more rock stand block, nail and cement than you would ever buy in your life. [00:48:11] Speaker B: Well when they tell you cheap and I tell them squeak squeak squeak squeak. [00:48:14] Speaker C: Squeak glad when they tell me that because I say how much rock and sound and what you done by okay, you ain't got nothing but you're telling me I cheap and my money is for me, not for you. [00:48:25] Speaker B: All right then. [00:48:25] Speaker C: Baham's got that mix up well and. [00:48:27] Speaker B: That'S another discussion too. I got plenty to talk about but that I. I appreciate you call so much. [00:48:31] Speaker C: Okay, man, thank you. [00:48:33] Speaker B: Continue to support and continue to call in again Guardian today. Next caller please. [00:48:38] Speaker C: Yeah, God, what's going on, man? [00:48:40] Speaker B: I am happy to be alive. I am full of energy today. I feel I could accomplish all things. [00:48:46] Speaker C: Okay and get after no one cuss cuz all Rules related. [00:48:54] Speaker B: You come on my show to talk with cousin Roll. Let me tell you something, Roland. Let me voice your whole bubble. [00:49:00] Speaker C: Yeah. [00:49:01] Speaker B: Your role. Don't ask a girl what role he is because then you also have different kind of role and different generation role. Or see you going quiet. I only talk about Ronnie Butler when I find out you is my first cousin. [00:49:18] Speaker C: Go ahead now God. Let me show you something. One time ago, rules was running the whole Bahamas. He had Paul Rolle running the police force. He had John Roll running the central bank. He had Ian Rolle running the port authority. He had Brencil Roll running national insurance. He had Linda Rolle running the lexicon board. He had Muff Rolle running the streets. [00:49:42] Speaker B: Muff Roll map was running the whole. [00:49:44] Speaker C: Bahamas at one time. John Roll was in charge of customs. One time the Bahamas can't do it worse. Obama's got more for those wars. Now let me tell you what I called for. You talking with me my late cousin, the late Rodney Munka. Like he say when he go on the Senate, when he get in there. I didn't know they give you to me. I didn't know. So you. So God. Just get ribeye steak and rakalam. [00:50:08] Speaker B: Okay then. [00:50:08] Speaker C: Yeah, you know they get that. Oh, shoot. You have two meat. [00:50:13] Speaker B: Two meat. [00:50:14] Speaker C: You have two meat on your plate. So you see, you speak of the host. You see Alquidas. I see him playing basketball now today, you see how they swell it up. [00:50:23] Speaker B: He can't dribble a ball like how he used to to shadows. [00:50:26] Speaker C: He. [00:50:26] Speaker B: He. He dribbled that ball at that big fell on the globe TR he got. [00:50:33] Speaker C: And they was in that size when they gone. Safe weekend and everything. And be careful on these wet streets. [00:50:39] Speaker B: Yes, sir. I appreciate you, my friend. Bamboo town. Yeah, man. Roll, not him. See, see, y' all think only politician. Is he good. You should go to he party. He party could be next month. I missing that you talk with food or muff rolling out to chew it down. But he brought something to my attention. That's why the pot cake doesn't go downtown every night. Them fellas there, especially Wednesday night, that's banquet time. They get all them ribeye bone and this and that they could chew on. My God, you're living good, eh? [00:51:04] Speaker A: But you know where the food is. The pork cake can find it. [00:51:05] Speaker B: The pork cake can find it. But I like this text, Mr. Roll. Worst part is everyone could see the pot come out way empty. I love this text. I don't even want to delete this text after the show. I want. I want to save this one, even hiding the board. Worst part is everyone could see the pot come out way empty and only the cook had access to it. See, I want Freedom Information Act. But y' all got evidence. Y' all could see these things and y' all then know only the cook been in the kitchen. And the person is saying only the cook could have taken the cookie or the cookie jar. Only the cook could have. Could have taken the kitchen pot. Only the cook could have take the pot of rice. And he got it all around his what his mouth. You could see the meat sauce. He say the evidence around the cook mouth means everybody in town they know is you. Is you. And the look on your face. The song say you're guilty, right? Then he can say he used the word he. We can say he or she don't know where the meat gone. [00:52:13] Speaker A: Temporary amnesia. [00:52:13] Speaker B: Like we stupid. Well, I love that text, though. You, you are a great philosopher and I appreciate that text. Next call on the line. Go ahead, please. [00:52:24] Speaker C: Well, good afternoon. Hey. [00:52:26] Speaker B: Hey, what's saying, doctor? [00:52:27] Speaker C: You know I call you from time to time on Sunday. [00:52:29] Speaker B: Well, you weren't giving a ride on your scooter. I don't know what's wrong with you. Use a selfish man. [00:52:33] Speaker C: Well, only guys ain't no radio on the scooter. That's the problem. Now today in the car because of the rains. I say, let me turn on the radio. And I hear you. [00:52:41] Speaker B: Go ahead, Wayne, brother. [00:52:43] Speaker C: The callers say most people don't know why the COI even following the coi. We can get into that in a minute. But if this. If they wanted you to have better than you have, if they wanted you to have a nicer road, a better cell phone company, if they wanted you to have a better hospital. Go outside when the rain stopped. Look around. This what they wanted you to have 52 years later because they have nice big homes. The cruise ship got what they need. The big hotel got what they need, right? How much islands we got with the cruise ships now, huh? And you don't go work on that island. Maybe one or two little jobs. What's the ownership how you could come and give away big land in one of my major islands and, and I get a little job on the island. So if you have a piece of property in life or key your granddaddy leave you and I come from away and build a million dollar house on it and I rent it for $10,000 a night, right? You should get half of the money and I should get half, right? Jesus. You got one job. To mow the grass or make the bed, serve to drink. See how crazy it is is your land, but what you have is what they intended for you to have. And I want somebody who wants a little bit more from me. And I don't care who it is. I mean if someone promised me an acre land, a hundred thousand dollars, I know what to do with it. Get 1,000 young people to go with me to Endrus and we build a new modern city, a carbon neutral crypto capital of the hemisphere here. Trump talking about crypto capital, sat right there in Guardian radio with lester Cox in 2017 and said we should be that. Y' all got the tape there, go play it back one day. So if you want your people to have better after 52 years, you can imagine your significant other, you telling her or him about you going to Valentine. But wait, wait child. 52 years later and you still telling them that what they would tell you. So it's not about what the man is saying, it's about what other people have not done. Why the people are angry. Car dropping in pothole and the car underwater because you can't get a drainage straight. 52 years later. Speaking about the rain today, you know much people can have some problems with their suspension. We could talk for hours. Okay, well, I can let you go. [00:54:58] Speaker B: Because I want to address, I want to address some of that. But I'm going to allow the guests to respond to you first and then I can respond thereafter. Thanks so much. [00:55:04] Speaker C: Well, tell, tell the guests please call in and tell you what has been done that has impacted the majority of the people. Like a new hospital. What has been done in 50 years that has positively impacted the majority of the people. Have a good one. [00:55:19] Speaker B: Okay. Thank you so much. [00:55:20] Speaker A: Thank you. [00:55:20] Speaker B: Go. Go ahead, Mr. Roll. If you want to respond to Mr. Rutherford. [00:55:23] Speaker A: Well, with his, with his comments on everything with 50 years. I'm about to be 39 years in another two weeks. [00:55:31] Speaker B: Oh yeah. [00:55:31] Speaker A: And in my 38 years of being here in my beautiful Bahamas, I have not seen incredibly loud, let's say beautification of everything for Bahamians where it's like empowerment for every Bahamian. Because if we started, well, you empowered. Let's say you start with 10 Bahamians you empowered, and they build jobs and they start they empowered 50 more. And you spread that and spread that. Wouldn't that be everybody getting a piece of the same proverbial meat that we were talking about? Getting a taste of that same meat? So when you get to the position of where, hey, we want to branch off into politics, we have a whole new set of politicians wanting to join in. They would already have a taste of what it is to be there. So when they get in that position to where they handle the meat, they would not be the chef with the sauce on his mouth with the pot empty. You understand? [00:56:33] Speaker B: I have a very good friend who's also a role. He's a preacher. I'm gonna call his name. Cause I know he's listening. He's also in Bamboo Town, and we call him Big Al as Al Roll. And he, you know, we on the boat. We on my boat. And we out there fishing on the south side. And he said, my God. You want to hear something? So I said, yeah, yeah. What you got on your mind? Because, you know, Big Al is a very good conversation. I like Alro. That's my friend, my boy, older gentleman, could even be my daddy. But we are there fishing. And he said, a friend and I went to look at a job on East Street. And it's a roof job, big job. And so we both went there together. We both carpenters. We went there and we just did a job and we gave it to the owner of the building. So he said some time had passed by. And the other partner, his other friend, who's a carpenter, was driving on E Street. He look up on. On the bell course and he see Big Al up there on the roof. So he say. He said, man, I thought we was friends. I thought we put that coat in together to do this roof. So Big Al said, yeah, use my friend. But when the fellow come back and after getting the coat and were he willing to pay, it wasn't enough money for me. And you only know for me. That don't sound like some politicians. I finally get the piece of meat. And listen me, all has been through this. I was a child too, you know. I remember growing up. Mr. Roll, when you get your red and white box, I call it no company name because they ain't sponsoring me. The red and white box. You get your chicken in there, you get your fries, you get your drink. The last thing you want Is somebody come up with you give them a piece, man, you ain't into that. You just get your cold. So you're tasty as ever. Can't wait to drink a little swig off of that. You wait to that. You can't and I don't eat it. But you get your crack. You know, we talk, baby. People don't hear your crack. You won't cut off pieces after me. Where these people come from? And I. I could only imagine the politicians must he saying, jesus, Lord, I just finally get me a little piece of meat. And you trying to beg me, I can't feed all of y'. All. If I got to feed 5,7000 of y', all, what I going to have to eat, see? So I should tell no to all of y' all and take a little quick chance, right? And then I can find some disciples in four years time to say, man, I'm going to feed you all this little bit of meat and tell them to me coming so I can give me another five years. Hey, I tell a lie yet? No, I ain't telling no lie. You don't like what I said, but this is how I understand politics and money to work in this country. [00:59:33] Speaker A: The truth is the truth. [00:59:34] Speaker B: Oh, that's the truth. Okay then. So, yeah, we want everybody to get a piece of the pie, Gram. Yeah, we won that. But guess what? You ain't saying to me, yes, we are where we are. 52 years later. We continue to point our fingers at the system and politicians and say, you know what? We need a piece of the pie. Am I against holy roads? Absolutely. Am I against a dilapidated, dysfunctional hospital? Absolutely. Am I upset about the condition of airports around the country? You better believe it. You know, I'm heavily angry. I get angry when I think about it as to how we mistreat agriculture in this country. Because, you know, a man got to eat, you got to feed yourself. You know, I love agriculture. I love beekeeping, I love planting, I love fishing. I love these things. These are things that you can actually do when it comes to straw market vending with the touch. Remember days of touch? Who going in the bush now for touch? But it's there. There are so many natural resources in this country that the average Bahamian does not take advantage of. Instead, what we do is we stand still, we look at the government and say, the government is not doing their part. Now, let me tell you what I trying to say to you. You want us to give you crown line? I want you to know the word crown nanny. In Bahamian. That, that was, that was given to us. [01:01:00] Speaker A: English. [01:01:00] Speaker B: Okay? English. Oh my. Use a smart rule fella boy. Okay, you want a piece of that? You then know the name on it in your name. So you got, you got to fight for that one. That's number one. Number two, some of y' all got generational property all over the place. I asking you this, I telling you this. If you the world you got probably down exoma somewhere. I asking you if you said McKinsey you got probably down there in Exuma. If you is a roker, you go down either the Aucklands or you go to Cat Island. You may have some generational property down there. You use a nose, you go down to Cat Island. If it's a Smith, you, you could go over to Cat island or you could go over to Exuma or you go over to Andros. How are you talking man? Are you talking sense here? If he's a pinda, check out an abaco. But you too lazy to go down into the archives and find out who your grandparents was, who your great grandparents was and what you are now entitled to. So they got to go quiet possess your property. Now I know roll your got some property but right now they're looking at your property. But we can get that clear for you. But you got to know what you own. You all want an acre land and you right now have access to 20 acres of land. And you wouldn't take yours. Thank you Jesus downtown. Catch the bus and go to the archives and see what you own. And you want me feel sorry for you? You want to convince me that I could put you to work when I call you on the job first thing in the morning. Yeah, you're God man. You, I can't wait with the eye for the day. Okay, I get a job. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You see, I could be here first thing in the morning, no problem. You show up first thing in the morning. Not my fault. So I gotta buy you breakfast from Wendy's. Then you need something to smoke because you gotta calm your little stuff done. You know that type of smoke I talking about. I, I been there, done this. You're gonna find your smoke and then you need something to cool down the smoke. You need one of them cold beer first thing in the morning. You need one of them cold bear with them bohemian bear that got to go wash that down. And then you wake up bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. Are you talking all kind of dog? All the Lakers this, oh, Boston this, all the Patriots this. Oh yeah, boy, you ain't watch that game like you're talking on my job. Time going, time wasted. Time when 12 o' clock reach is lunchtime. Yeah, yeah, boy, Boss. Boy, I can't wait no more. He says, are you hungry still? You know, you can't go get me one of them snacky. I go in from off the job, can go get the snack. I come back, I meet you sitting down, I give you a snack. Now you sit down, you eat the snack under the tree. When you finish eating. Hey, boss, you know something? I just remember I gotta do something for the old lady still. You see, I gotta. I got a bumps. I said, okay, well, I'll see you tomorrow. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But let me get a little thing, though. Let me get a little thing. You don't gotta give me all. Just give me half. I good. You only work half of the day, but I must give you half. So I giving you half. You think I see them tomorrow? [01:03:57] Speaker A: No, sir. [01:03:58] Speaker B: You think the job get finished yet? [01:03:59] Speaker A: No, sir. [01:04:00] Speaker B: I can be real with y'. [01:04:01] Speaker C: All. [01:04:02] Speaker B: I hired a behemoth. I can be real with y'. All. I hired a Bahamian fellow to cut my yard. I know my yard kind of big. The man, I got a. I live out there by Albany Bay, you know. I come all the way over to Pinewood, you know, to pick up this man, you know, four times to try cutting my yard. My yard's not even finished yet. I bring the legal Haitian. So I was the one who worked with the Bahamian ambassador, who he worked for. So he made an agreement with me that as long as he could work for the ambassador, he willing to do my yard for free. But I still have schemes, you know. I know the type of fellow. I could pay you if you. I bring him one day, yard, finish, yard. Look like a miracle. Your people want me feel sorry for you all, but y', all. I don't understand. Anyway, caller, go ahead, go ahead, call her. [01:04:54] Speaker C: Hello? [01:04:55] Speaker B: Go ahead, call her. [01:04:56] Speaker C: Can you hear me? [01:04:57] Speaker B: Yes, sir, I can. Man. Good day to you, man. I hope you're having a great day. [01:05:02] Speaker C: Yeah, not too bad. Good day to you. [01:05:05] Speaker A: Good day, sir. [01:05:06] Speaker C: Yeah, I was listening to you and your description. Politicians, right? [01:05:14] Speaker B: Some of them, yes. [01:05:15] Speaker C: I actually kind of feel sad for all of them. Finland halfway excluded. I don't mean to call any name. [01:05:24] Speaker B: But I appreciate that. [01:05:25] Speaker C: With a little bit of the vision that God had blessed him. [01:05:30] Speaker B: Yeah. Yes, well, I appreciate your call. And there is a vision for this country, by the way, from 1973 to now. Can you as a young person, Mr. Rolle, identify that vision and do you see that vision actually maturing? Or do you think that vision has now been lost because the politician is now there? We know they can live good. What should now be the expectation of someone sitting in the House of Assembly with the resources that they should now have? [01:06:06] Speaker A: Well, first of all, the vision is not going to be lost. [01:06:09] Speaker B: It's not lost. [01:06:10] Speaker A: As long as the young people are here, a new vision or adding on to that vision will always be possible. [01:06:18] Speaker B: Are there young people right now who are willing to add to that? [01:06:20] Speaker A: Yes, young people in this country. But they have to be given the vision chances in order to do the opportunity. The opportunity in order to do it. [01:06:27] Speaker B: How do we make that opportunity happen? [01:06:29] Speaker A: You have to teach. You have to lead properly. A leader brings up a leader. Don't just go in there, just do what the leaders supposed to do, like run things and then get out and leave nobody to know what's going on. And then they have to come back in. That's not a leader. If you're leading, you must bring up your future leaders behind you. [01:06:54] Speaker B: I know, I try to do that sometime. But you know what young people doing these days? I mean, I was insulted when they first called me dad and they call me old man. I was very insulted. My feelings was actually hurt. But these people going to Google and asking AI for the solution, answering the video, they need me no more. They want throw God away, they want troll me away. And so I, I the type of fella, if you want to throw me away, I can stand back and let you do your thing. But tell me why the job you supposed to be doing look the way it look. Why mash up? Why it wrong? You ain't want me saying nothing to help you. And then you then mash up the people on job and you won't get paid. You won't get paid. Now I gotta explain to the people why the job look mash up. And then I gotta go fix the job. And I didn't pay you. So the money, what I supposed to make? I make no money. So. Old man, you can't treat old people like this. [01:07:52] Speaker A: Come on. No, you gotta do that. [01:07:54] Speaker B: Young people gotta have a little respect for old people and old people. We gotta find a way to hold hands with the young people. [01:08:01] Speaker A: Even with AI coexist. [01:08:03] Speaker B: Let's coexist. Yes. And let's make our country greater. We gotta take a quick break. We'll be right back. It's time to upgrade the way you enjoy at home. [01:08:23] Speaker C: Entertainment alive. [01:08:25] Speaker B: Fiber is here. [01:10:45] Speaker B: Man, I just want to give thanks and praise. [01:10:48] Speaker C: Yeah to you and you Guess the Grammy boy gns Listen, I tried what you was talking about earlier. I just came in from the hospital but I tried what you was talking about going on and researching the generation properties and stuff like that. And the problem is unscrupulous surveyors and stuff like that and more money. The fellows them ripping me off and teething your money and in some instances trying to take your land from you. A lot of times you just throwing it out and you give it up. [01:11:33] Speaker B: That is a problem that definitely has been fixed. And when you're asking for this free crown land, you got to understand that there are fees. Let me tell you something, there are going to be fees associated with that. You know you need a surveyor you just said you got to go through the surveyor and pray to God the surveyor rip you off. And then you got to be. You got, you got. You know how many people go, that's your things now, but the place sitting next to you say, no, no how to get your things. I didn't get that voice. I had to chop that down face. I didn't put the coconut. Coconut tree over there. That's my coconut tree. Listen to me. I know you call it. I respect you. I. I ain't gonna cut your story, but listen to what I say to you. I grew up behind Baham's Academy on off of Wolf Road. Yeah, right where Mr. Sealy shop is us. Ms. Seeley was a curry, but she married Mr. Seeley daughter Celie. I lived next on a little aqua house right there. We had a lime tree. And the Seeleys are great people, excellent people. I mean, I love them dearly, but the mother used to row every morning was the wild lime tree was in our yard because she's the one who throw the seed in our yard. So all the lime on the tree is hers. And when she got a little bit of touch of drink. She ain't no easy woman. Sweet people. But Mommy. But mommy wasn't easy. You got my lime tree. They my lime. You picking my lime. But that's how we go. When it comes to land, you talk about war. When you talk about land, you talk about Palestine and Israel. You talk about generations of fighting. These young people even know they're asking for. Yes, it's your entitlement. Yes, it's our beautiful Bahama land. But listen, the cost. The cost. [01:13:07] Speaker C: Let me get this out. This is very important information for the nation, for us. All your noise dialysis. I'm renal patient. Right. I basically am an advocate for those patients. I am too, to a certain extent. A lot of the staff members who count who are afraid to speak for themselves. But today I put the patient's concern aside and I keep in for the staff members. Okay, listen to me. They. In the last three weeks, that unit is under. You know, when you say short staff. [01:13:40] Speaker B: Yes. [01:13:41] Speaker C: Well, it undershots. [01:13:42] Speaker B: That's bad. [01:13:43] Speaker C: Undershot staff. And you know, we got hundreds of patients coming in there on a weekly basis. [01:13:48] Speaker B: I have a dialysis patient myself. [01:13:51] Speaker C: Nice, sir. [01:13:52] Speaker B: Yes. [01:13:53] Speaker C: Only two has been going to that unit in the last week or two at 5am Four something. 5am to open that unit. [01:14:01] Speaker B: That's. [01:14:03] Speaker C: And I have witnessed three of those dialysis nurses literally got all out and had to go home. [01:14:11] Speaker B: My God, we're overworked. And that ain't no easy job. That ain't no easy job. You got. You got to hook up the access, make sure the machines are clean. They got to be sanitized. [01:14:23] Speaker C: I don't want the nation to miss what I said. [01:14:25] Speaker B: You know, man, I know what you're talking about. I know what you're talking about. [01:14:29] Speaker C: Had to run out of there from over exhaustion. [01:14:32] Speaker B: I want the Minister of Health to hear your plea today. It is a real plea. I am very familiar with the whole idea of kidney disease or polycystic kidney disease. It is in my house. I'm not asking you. It's in my house. I know this. To go away every six weeks. Weeks. And go and check your access. I know what it means. I have to pay for airplane ticket. I know what it means. I have to go to private care. Four o' clock in the morning. I know what you're talking about. Exactly. It is tiring. It is exhausting. [01:15:01] Speaker C: Yes, it is. [01:15:02] Speaker B: And I want the Bahamas to listen to me today. There are so many people who have kidney disease and kidney failure. There are those because of lack of taking care of the bodies. Yes, but. But there is a strong situation of polycystic kidney disease that is in your DNA. It's a genetic situation. And your kidneys begin to fail. It is traumatizing. And you'll watch £40 at £93. Overnight. [01:15:28] Speaker C: Yes, overnight. [01:15:29] Speaker B: Your diet has to change. You can't eat everything. Listen to me. [01:15:33] Speaker C: It's tough. [01:15:34] Speaker B: Somebody in the military help. Listen to this gentleman. And please, for God's sake, get some help over to that dialysis. [01:15:40] Speaker C: But the thing about it is you almost expect the patients to go through their ups and downs. [01:15:47] Speaker B: They do. [01:15:48] Speaker C: But listen to me, God. It's not killing the damn nurses. It killing the patients and the nurses. [01:15:55] Speaker B: My Lord. [01:15:56] Speaker C: Thanks for letting me share that. [01:15:58] Speaker B: I appreciate you. I appreciate it. What a great call. Next call on the line, please. I know time is going. I want to take as many calls as I could. Go ahead, call her caller. Go ahead. Next caller. Next caller. [01:16:10] Speaker C: Hello? [01:16:11] Speaker B: Yes. Hey, go ahead. [01:16:12] Speaker C: Good day. [01:16:14] Speaker B: Good day, my friend. [01:16:15] Speaker C: Yeah, this is me, Danna. [01:16:17] Speaker B: Hey, what's happening? [01:16:18] Speaker C: Y' all are my topic. I didn't say I can donate the Alice machine. [01:16:24] Speaker B: Yes, you did. [01:16:25] Speaker C: There in Sun Sal and in Crooked Island. You did say that Y' all talk about generation land. [01:16:32] Speaker B: Yes. [01:16:32] Speaker C: Well, anyway, tell everybody know a generation land in Watlins island and how Loyalist Charles Farquharson and my great, great, great great grandfather and all My cousins in Sensal, they have to know where they could build them. No. And I got the record. So this government and I'm joking and giving the behemoth the health care that they need the dialysis. Right. [01:17:03] Speaker B: Well this has been a successive issue and that's why I don't. I try not to politicize the issues of the country. I try to get us all to hear the cry and somebody, anybody who can. Now is the time to make the insertion either in a philanthropic way or a sacrificial way. But we got to find a way to save people's lives. It's horrific. [01:17:23] Speaker C: One last thing. [01:17:24] Speaker B: Uh huh. [01:17:25] Speaker C: Okay. With my personal properties down there and Crooked Island. Sit down. What I dealing up with once I get sorted out, I need them to answer my letter no more, you understand? I dealing with the lawyers from last week, Tuesday. And I will be dealing with them and get the dates to come to court, so. [01:17:55] Speaker B: Well, I appreciate you. We're gonna be praying for you. I just try to clear these lines but you know, our love is there with you and our support and prayers and continue to support. Man, I, I love hearing from you. Can I take another caller please? Call it. Go ahead please. [01:18:10] Speaker C: Hello? [01:18:11] Speaker B: Hey, go ahead. I'm trying to give some respect to all the callers. So go ahead as quickly as possible. [01:18:16] Speaker C: Okay, I, I just. This is Ro. [01:18:19] Speaker B: Mr. Rose Barrow. But the gentleman across from me is Mr. Roll. [01:18:24] Speaker A: Good afternoon. [01:18:25] Speaker C: Okay. Rose Barrows. [01:18:26] Speaker B: Hey. [01:18:27] Speaker C: Okay. I, I heard you just now. You saying about the guys. Are you talking about the guy gentleman who came to work and you out buy him breakfast? [01:18:40] Speaker B: Yes. [01:18:40] Speaker C: Okay. You sitting down, right? [01:18:42] Speaker B: Yes. [01:18:43] Speaker C: Because I know if you're sitting down, you can fall down. [01:18:48] Speaker B: Hey, that's a good way to look at it. [01:18:50] Speaker C: The guy came to my house, he said Mister, can you give me $5 buy me some breakfast? I said clean the windows. I don't know the vendors to the front road, they get dirty quicker than the ones in the back on the sides. So I say clean the three vendors in the front. I give them $20. I say I go to take the shower. When they come back. [01:19:13] Speaker B: The windows ain't clear. The windows ain't clean. So let me explain you with $5, there's $5 is to open your wallet. Because once your wallet open, they can see inside the wallet. So you got more than $5. I said once you open your wallet, they, they did they eye quick. Listen to me. That, that behavior eye could move fast. Once you open up, what they then see you got a 20 in there, you got a 15 there, you got 100 in there. There. They got to get as much of that as they could. They go in looking for their natural resource, right? [01:19:41] Speaker C: Nowhere. [01:19:46] Speaker B: They say, bushcrack man gone, man gone. Okay, man, I appreciate you calling my brother. I. I got a lot of text here, but Mr. Roll, you want to respond to any of those things, you're the guest today. I don't want to. Yeah, override you too much. But that story he was telling me, I don't want you to start with over when he ain't get paid for working all that time, because that has happened all the time. Yes, sir, but I want to get ready to tell that story. So when he started working for you. But let me take this caller quickly. Go ahead, call her. Go ahead, call her, call her. Go ahead, call on the line. Okay, we lost the caller. Yeah, tell us that story. When, when the young man started working for you because you a young man yourself, you said you're in your 30s. [01:20:22] Speaker A: Yes, sir. [01:20:22] Speaker B: And use a business owner, successful one, by the way. Even though you drive, when the car don't look successful, you got. I know you, man. You can't trick me. I know you up big body. Look at the caller call because I was about to talking business. God just save you, boy. Caller, go ahead. [01:20:39] Speaker C: Hey, hey, buddy, listen to me. The gentleman talk about the, the person just now with cleaning the window. [01:20:47] Speaker B: Uhhuh. That was in ua. [01:20:49] Speaker C: I was by a watering hole couple. Couple years, about a year and a half ago. Two years. [01:20:56] Speaker B: What type of water you was buying? Aquapure or. Or the next one. Okay, go ahead, go ahead. [01:21:01] Speaker C: Yeah, the fella asked me for $5. They like asked for $5. I don't know if they have it. It's only cost $5. [01:21:10] Speaker B: Yeah, you know, it's $5. [01:21:11] Speaker C: But listen to me, I say, man, I clear my car for more. I can fix you up, man. When I tell you, I walk outside, got that car, the part that was facing me. That car didn't look like. I just get that paint. [01:21:26] Speaker B: Yes. [01:21:27] Speaker C: Change the tires. I take the tires after all the way down. So I say to sell, jerk out the car. I open the door, look at the car. Then I reach home, my friend say, boy, where you been? I said, what happened? I come home for the car clean and I've been clean. I said to me to select. He touched. I say, I say, he dry clean the next act. You know, he touched the next act. [01:22:00] Speaker A: Wow. [01:22:01] Speaker C: And you, you talk about games. You talk about the Olympic get games Them churches, they get games. Yeah. [01:22:06] Speaker B: And then you all want to tell me anyway. I, I, I. [01:22:11] Speaker C: Can continue listening. [01:22:13] Speaker B: Yeah, man, I appreciate you, man. I said we're going to clean my property and bang on the side of the properly. But I can talk with them later. I got some texts here, my Lord. I got a lot of text here. Good afternoon. I love what your guest just said, but is he aware that for years we have had a leadership problem? We have had lots of people with titles and power, but they are not leaders. How are they going to teach what they do not know, my Lord? Next, let me see. Next text here. Good show, sir. They need to keep you on this show. The other person. Okay, I don't want to do that. That's my good friend. We have some crooked wicked people professing God in our country who use people to help them get jobs also who form partnerships and after getting the jobs, they become the devil from hell and they take all the money. They are demonic who uses people for their benefit. There's a lot of truth in there, and you may want to disagree with some of it, but there is a lot of truth in there. Is this the late mm, no, this is not the late role. No, this, this one, this written more, but no, this is Remic Rolls seniors. That's who's here with me today. Listen, Mr. Roll, tell me the story quick before anyone calling, because you got to tell this story. Go ahead quickly. [01:23:38] Speaker A: Well, after listening to your story and about the gentleman you hired, I had a similar event happen where I hired a gentleman. That was that I felt sorry for because he needed work. So I hired him and I told him the repercussions of not coming to work on time. [01:24:00] Speaker B: Yes. [01:24:01] Speaker A: It's very important to be there. [01:24:03] Speaker B: Yes. [01:24:03] Speaker A: When I need you there. I need you to do this, I need you to do that before you get the job. Before, before you get the job. [01:24:09] Speaker B: An agreement has been made. An accord. Yes. [01:24:11] Speaker A: So there's no surprises as to what's to come. Right. He had similar, he had small experience in the job where he would help out sometimes with us if we needed to help. That's fine. But I had to let him know, hey, this is what else goes on. This is entitlement for the job. Okay, fine. He agrees. So I go there first time, pick him up in the morning, six o' clock in the morning, he there, boom. We working like, you know, we popping like, like, like hot grease. [01:24:36] Speaker B: We working. [01:24:37] Speaker A: He work for the day. Cool. And time to go home. I noticed something about him that I Never noticed before. You see him, he want to go at a bar. He said, okay. He work hard today. Yeah. He entitled to have a drink if you want to. So he said, pick him up down the road. So anyway, we finish gassing up or whatever, pick him up down the road. He come out with a big pint of rum in the hand and a coconut water. And I say, anyway, I brush it off. I say, anyway, he's a grown man. He probably could take care of himself. I say, anyway, I can see you at 6 o' clock in the morning. He said, yeah, boss, I can meet you there. Come six o' clock in the morning, no workout, no show, no show. 6:30, no show, no show. I said, hold on, I can't wait all day. [01:25:22] Speaker B: No, because I know how you all go. [01:25:23] Speaker A: Yeah. I calling him on the phone, calling him. [01:25:25] Speaker B: No answer, no answer. [01:25:27] Speaker A: I say, anyway, let me go to work. I, I just used to go back. I used to do it by myself. Anyway, let me just go to work. So I hook up and go to work. One o' clock in the afternoon, he show up. No, the phone ring. [01:25:38] Speaker B: Oh. [01:25:39] Speaker A: I say, what, What? [01:25:40] Speaker B: What? [01:25:40] Speaker A: What I have to answer you for? [01:25:42] Speaker B: You didn't answer the phone. [01:25:43] Speaker A: You didn't answer the phone when I called you in the morning. You didn't answer what I have to answer for. God. I say, anyway, I'll just talk to him later because I get focusing on work. I. I'm busy. [01:25:53] Speaker B: I got you. [01:25:54] Speaker A: So now when I get off, I call him. I say, so what happened? Oh, my phone. I did forget to charge my phone and this and that. [01:26:04] Speaker B: I see, yeah, all is your fault. [01:26:06] Speaker A: I say, okay, listen, I give you another chance, okay? I know sometimes. [01:26:11] Speaker B: Another chance. [01:26:12] Speaker A: I give you another chance. If your phone was, other people would. [01:26:14] Speaker B: Have then fired you. But you giving him another chance. [01:26:17] Speaker A: I see, if your phone was dead and your. You forget the alarm. I know how important people phone is. They only depend on their phone for everything. So I say, you forget to charge it, fine. [01:26:26] Speaker B: So that's the God in you. That ain't you. Because you the fire then. But that's the God in you. So go ahead. You know my mother, right? [01:26:33] Speaker A: It was my mother. [01:26:34] Speaker B: I tried to say the God in you, okay, that's the daddy in you there, not your mom. Go ahead. Because your mom would fire, she would fire you, but go ahead. Are you listening? [01:26:42] Speaker A: She'd fire me. [01:26:43] Speaker C: Oh. [01:26:44] Speaker A: So anyway. So I go on, I say, anyway, let's do, let's. Let's do this again, you know? No, now Be to work on time. [01:26:50] Speaker B: Yeah. Okay. [01:26:52] Speaker A: 6:15. He show up anyway. All right. Yeah, whatever. So the next couple days, he's doing. Continuing doing the same thing. Going to the bar in the evening, can't wake up on time in the morning. And I saying, you. You know what your problem is, right? [01:27:10] Speaker B: Or you had a conversation. [01:27:11] Speaker A: I used to attend it. I say, you know what your problem is, right? I say, you can see what your problem is. I don't have to tell you what your problem is. If you're going to do this and you know you have to be up a certain time in the morning, you have a job now that requires you to be up a certain time in the morning, then, you know you have to give up doing something you have to sacrifice in order to move up in life. You can't keep continuing doing the same thing over and over. [01:27:36] Speaker B: No. [01:27:36] Speaker A: And expect your life to elevate. [01:27:38] Speaker C: Mm. [01:27:38] Speaker A: Okay. That's called insanity if you keep doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results. Okay? So you have to give up something in order to achieve something else greater than yourself. [01:27:49] Speaker B: And guess what? He's looking at you and thinking, you petty, buddy. Like you petty boy. You use a light. Lord, boy, you understand. You're supposed to understand that young people got to flex sometime. And you understand everything will be cool. They didn't let me. Let me break it down to y' all so I wouldn't sound unfair. They didn't see how much money y' all is make out there. He then figure you make so much money you could retire for the rest of the week. He ain't got to really be there. And guess what he's willing to do when he see you. I'm a hold a little slow 50. Let me hold over till next week. I ain't feeling too good. Let me get a little bit of sick painting until next week. Work ethic is lacking in this country, man. We have become a people who we feel so significant that we believe the rest of the world must automatically bow to us. I want you all to hear me carefully. The politician has already recognized that this world runs on money. I will make this clear to everyone before me get out of here. Today, this world run runs on money. Money is something. Yes, you can share it, or yes, you can deposit it in the bank and make it grow. Money tells us who you are and what you are truly all about. When you become a politician, there are expectations that I have of you which ain't good. I can tell you right now, straight up, I didn't Know you tried to trick God, you tried to trick me. But let me tell you why you can't trick me. Because like Mr. Roll here, 4 o' clock in the morning, we up, 6 o', clock, be on the job, we can finish the job, we gonna get paid. And guess what? I want a producer. We got that song, just got paid. Get that ready to go for me, we getting paid. And when I get paid, where the road got holding it. That's why I could buy money, a Jeep Wrangler if too much activity on the streets. And y' all got the ambulance and the police and everybody in that woman out there with the microphone saying it's another one bite the dust. I get on the boat, I get on the water. See, I'm not saying that we don't need to fix these problems. You got a problem with your hospital, guess who ain't going there. I tell you all the honest to God truth. I just eat properly, I just exercise, I just work hard. I don't want to make sure I got enough money. God forbid, if something happened to me, I got to try to reach for order quick. I asking you all no question, man. I got to do this with me. So if you know something is a problem, you have to prepare yourself. The politician trying to make money, you trying to make money. The Haitian government, I gotta taste straight today, man. The Haitian government, Haiti trying to make money. The Cuban trying to make money. The man from Dominican Republic trying to make money. The Chinese trying to make money. America trying to make money. Britain trying to make money. Everybody want the money. And you think you could sit down in a chair and cry, I feel so sorry. You want some of this money? It don't work like that. [01:31:09] Speaker A: Never. [01:31:10] Speaker B: It don't work like that. When you talk about money, you talk about war. You want me to tell you what money is, man? The love of money, the Bible says, is the root of all evil. When you want a king, the Bible says the king can get some things from you. The king can get the best car, he can get the best women, he can get the best houses, the best land. This is what kings do. They got power, they got wealth, they got influence. This is what comes with the title. If you want the same thing, let me help you out today. Go be a politician if you want the same thing. Similar. Go be a preacher. Tell everybody, last night and God spoke to me, and today I am a preacher and go and get your money. Guess what? Everybody will be mad at you for getting money. I asking you this, everybody don't want you to get no money. People just have this thing where they just love money. But I sit here today in this space to encourage you to be upright, to be honest, to be hard working, to be sacrificial, to be community minded, to be a nation builder and give respect to the spiritual power of over your life. That's the only reason why I'm sitting here. You can't pay me no money to sit here on this bank today. Who? Who you? How much money are you losing just sitting right here? You understand this man? You know what I do for a living. And I know drug dealer, No, I know assassin. I a hard working man. But guess what I know how to do. Make my money. If you don't want to give me no crown land, guess what I can do. I can go find some land, I could buy it myself. You, I ain't gonna wait on you. [01:32:57] Speaker C: Who's you? [01:32:58] Speaker B: You ain't nobody. You been dead just like friggin me. I say I almost cuss again. Thank you Jesus. Because you all think people can give you all things. You don't hearing you nothing. You can cry all your life. The children of Israel cried for 40 years and you're not wanting to make it into the kingdom. You don't read the Bible. Crying don't get you nothing. If they give you manna, you can need some meat. They give you meat, you can need some water. You give them the manna, the meat and the water. The sun too hot. You only know how single yet. You ain't gonna make it if you keep on crying. I ain't saying things ain't wrong. I ain't saying we don't need things to be better. What I'm saying is that you got to find a way to reach the kingdom. You got to do that. Nobody else could do that for you. I mean anyway, Jesus, Lord, preach. Oh Jesus, help me. It's Friday night folks. I just got paid. I hope you just got paid. I want you to drive safe. I want you to stay off them streets. You fellas, you all look like I can say. I can say this too. You're liking man for what you don't know. Somebody in that group may be a problem. Stop hanging out, go home, help your mom cut the grass, go wash the car. Go paint your bedroom because all the doors in your house dirty. They dingy, they're supposed to be white and they look great. Can I say these things? [01:34:16] Speaker A: All right. [01:34:16] Speaker B: Oh, Jesus. Michael Bay the dog, they go babe, the podcast. Do something else other than gotta ride underneath the tree. Talking fool, man. Talking fool is a serious thing. Sorry about that, Mr. Roll. I'm getting a little excited. [01:34:26] Speaker A: That's fine, man. [01:34:27] Speaker B: I got. I gotta end the sermon, but the man is great to have. You want to have some parting words? Just give us 30 seconds, man. I'm sorry about that. I get a little hard to get the spirit today. Go ahead. [01:34:34] Speaker A: Well, it was a great video, man. Thank you for the opportunity. I want to wish my condolences to my. My good friend that passed away this. This week. Monday to be exact. Franklin Dan, He's a good friend of mine. It was a good. Good to be a friend with him. But yeah, you. You cannot sit down. You cannot wait for things to happen. You must make it happen yourself. [01:35:00] Speaker B: Yes. [01:35:00] Speaker A: No one is going to hand you anything. Especially in this world today, no one is going to hand you anything. You must work. You have to sacrifice some things. But it all in the end, it will be for a greater cause. And it's bigger than yourself that will win in the end. [01:35:15] Speaker B: Thank you so much for being here. This has been carding today. 96.9 FMZ. Line is up next. You folks have a great and safe one.
